The Annual Easter Egg Hunt returns to Caledon State Park in King George and this year the event is paired with Bark in the Park.
The event will take place on April 12 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Easter Egg hunts for kids and dogs will begin at 2 p.m. The event will have food trucks, wagon rides and a variety of vendors.
“We are so excited that our Friends Group partnered with the Hero Academy for this doggone cute egg-stravaganza,” said Caledon State Park Manager Nina Cox. “We love seeing the park filled with families and dogs all enjoying nature together.”
There will be working dog demonstrations and an agility course for dogs.
“Please remember to recreate responsibly and pick up after your dog so everyone can enjoy the park,” said Cox.
All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
The event is free to attend, but there is a $5 parking fee. All funds raised from this event go to the B.A.R.K. Ranger Program that will be coming soon to Caledon State Park.
