Fast forecast

We’ll see the warmest weekend so far this season for the Fredericksburg region.

  • Temperatures well into the 70s both days
  • Gusty southwest breezes in the afternoons
  • Small showers possible late Sunday

After some afternoon clouds and small showers pass through on Friday afternoon, winds will turn from the south over the next three days, yielding the warmest weekend since last fall.

Temperatures both afternoons this weekend will soar into the middle to upper 70s, and while it will not be prestinely sunny, there is no chance of rain until late Sunday afternoon, when some spotty showers may move through.

A few spells of rain with potential thunderstorms follow for Monday, which will signal an end to the warm spell and send temperatures closer to normal for the middle of next week.

Normal temperatures next week:

Highs: Low 60s

Lows: Upper 30s
