A Wednesday night Fire in Lake of the Woods required assistance from Lake of the Woods Volunteer Fire Department, Mine Run VFC, Orange Volunteer Fire Company , Spotsylvania County Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Management Engine 7, and County of Orange Fire & EMS. No injuries as everyone was able to exit and several pets escaped unharmed.
Lake of the Woods Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company posted these pictures on their Facebook page to show what they call a compelling contrast:
