Jo Ann Winston was granted eternal peace on February 13, 2025. She was 72 and a resident of Stafford, Va..

Jo Ann was a shining example of selflessness, always putting others before herself.  She had a heart of gold, constantly striving to help those in need.  Her generous and kind-hearted nature inspired those around her.  She was a creative force, fearlessly tackling any craft that came her way.  Her determination and sense of humor were contagious, bringing joy to all that knew her. She cherished her family, reveling in the time they spent together. She savored each cup of coffee and crushed it on the Candy Crush leaderboard. Her dedication to her work at Quantico Commissary spanned over 30 years, earning her countless friendships.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her two children, Lisa Weaver and fiancé, Walter of Henrico, Va., and Thomas Winston and wife, Maritza of Stafford, Va.; grandchildren, Summer Weaver, Fiona Winston and Hazel Winston; sisters, Jayne Dolighan and Linda Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo Ann was reunited in heaven with her parents, Ben and Betty Hensley; and her brothers, Ben Hensley and Donnie Hensley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12-4 at The Fredericksburg Moose Family Center, 11917 Cherry Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22407.
