Rappahannock High School wins Dahlgren’s High School Innovation Challenge

After months of work, coding and hands-on robot building–Rappahannock High School wins the 4th Annual High School Innovation Challenge @ Dahlgren.
2nd place to North Stafford Team 1
3rd place to Fredericksburg Christian School
17 schools, and 18 teams began competion on Friday morning at the UMW Dahlgren campus.
Organizers credit Navy enginners and subject matter experts for bringing it all together– from mentoring students, designing curriculum and crafting hands-on learning opportunities.
A Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Facebook post said:
Whether it’s guiding students through Python coding or designing and implenting engineering solutions, this team is committed to empowering the next generation of problem solvers and innovators.   The dedication of our engineers is about building future leaders in STEM. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work and passion they bring to this program, ensuring these young minds get the best possible experience and training.
