Next rain around Groundhog Day
After an active period, a bit of a breather is ahead for Fredericksburg. No rain nor snow is coming this weekend, and afternoon temperatures will creep to near 40 on Saturday and approach 50 on Sunday.
Some swings in temperatures are coming next week, but overall, a return to normal is ahead. No precipitation is expected Monday through Friday.
The next significant storm comes for the first weekend in February, and early signs are for occasional rain —- not snow.
