- Dry and chilly to start the weekend, but finishing damp
- Cloudier on Sunday with spotty light rain, drizzle
- Mild with showers early next week
- On the lookout for a larger storm late next week
It will stay cool and dry through the first half of the weekend, then a weak disturbance will spread clouds and spots of light rain and drizzle into the Fredericksburg region on Sunday.
Milder early next week with sporadic showers, but a steady accumulating rain is not forecast.
After another dry and cool spell during the middle of next week, a larger storm system approaches on Friday or Saturday (Dec. 20 or 21). The system is most likely to bring significant rain, but it is too early to rule out the chance of a small amount of snow.
Normal temperatures next week:
Highs: Upper 40s
Lows: Upper 20s
