A 5,592-square-foot Caroline County house with 422 feet of frontage along the Rappahannock River topped the list of area home sales for the week ending Dec. 3.
The seven-bedroom home on 10.4 acres at 1366 Fox Spring Lane sold last week for $1,682,500. The property is near Belvedere Plantation off U.S. 17.
That was one of 68 area home sales last week, according to data from the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors. The data include home sales in Fredericksburg, Colonial Beach and Caroline, King George, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford counties. The median for the week was about $495,000. The low was $205,000.
The only other seven-figure sale last week was a five-bedroom home on 3.97 acres at 22 Lupine Drive in Stafford’s The Glens subdivision. That home sold for $1,242,000.
