Eight houses in the Fredericksburg region sold last week for more than $1 million, easily the most since the Free Press started tracking weekly sales last month.
In total last week there were 126 home sales, also the highest since the tracking began. The data come from the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors and includes home sales in Fredericksburg, Colonial Beach and Caroline, King George, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.
The eight that went for more than $1 million were:
- An 1845 manor house on 582 acres in Orange that went for $6.9 million
- A Lake Anna home that went for $2.53 million
- Two Downtown Fredericksburg homes that each went for $1.15 million — one on Prince Edward Street and the other on Caroline Street
- A Fawn Lake home that went for $1.125 million
- A Lake of the Woods home that went for for $1.112 million
- A Lake Anna home that went for $1.035 million
- A Hampton Run home in Stafford that went for $1.005 million
