Cosner’s Corner won’t be the only Fredericksburg-area location for a popular restaurant chain.
First Watch, which operates 535 restaurants in 29 states, plans to open a restaurant at 1160 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center. That 5,600-square-foot building, which is near the Wawa, was formerly a TGI Friday’s location.
A First Watch is also planned at 10101 Patriot Highway in the Cosner’s Corner area of Spotsylvania County, in a building that used to be home to Fatty’s Taphouse 2. That restaurant is expected to open this coming spring.
First Watch’s website describes the restaurant as a “leading Daytime Dining concept serving made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch using fresh ingredients.” It has been mentioned repeatedly on social media as one of the brands that area residents would like to see in the region.
