A Patient First medical center is planned near the intersection of Blue & Gray Parkway and Lafayette Boulevard in Fredericksburg.
The facility will be built at 1313 Alum Spring Road on a commercial pad site in front of the Fredericksburg Park neighborhood. Royal Farms had previously been interested in that site.
The Patient First medical center could open as soon as early 2026, said Patient First Community Relations Manager Victoria Soriano. Like all Patient First centers, she said, this location will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day and will provide urgent care, primary care and occupational health services on a walk-in basis.
The medical center will feature on-site lab testing, X-rays and prescription drugs.
Patient First already has area locations in Fredericksburg’s Central Park and in Stafford County’s Garrisonville area.
