A popular restaurant chain is coming to the Cosner’s Corner area of Spotsylvania County.
First Watch, which operates 535 restaurants in 29 states, will open at 10101 Patriot Highway. Spotsylvania’s planning office approved the renovation and use permits, said Michelle McGinnis, the county’s director of community engagement and tourism.
The restaurant is expected to open this coming spring, a First Watch representative said. The building where First Watch will go had been home to Fatty’s Taphouse 2 until this past weekend, when it closed.
First Watch’s website describes the restaurant as a “leading Daytime Dining concept serving made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch using fresh ingredients.” It has been mentioned repeatedly as one of the brands that area residents would like to see in the region.
