The owner of the Volvo and Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Fredericksburg has purchased an adjacent parcel that allows for future growth.
Dealership owner Clay Huber, via RH Luxury LLC, last month purchased the 4-acre parcel adjacent to the Volvo dealership on Fall Hill Avenue. The parcel is between Briscoe Lane and Noyack Lane and was previously owned by PrimeCore Properties. The sales price was $4.25 million.
Huber said that his Volvo and Mercedes dealerships are out of space, and he saw the parcel as an opportunity to better serve his customers and invest for the future. He said he is just starting to plan potential uses but anticipates the parcel will allow for the expansion of both dealerships. In the future, it could serve as a site for another dealership.
Huber just finished a thorough renovation of the Volvo dealership, and the Mercedes dealership was refreshed a few years ago. All three parcels that he owns run along Fall Hill Avenue and are also connected by Shadmoor Drive and Noble Way.
The 4-acre parcel Huber purchased is next to one of the largest remaining undeveloped properties in the City — a 34-acre parcel at 3430 Fall Hill Avenue that is currently under contract. Huber anticipates additional commercial activity along Fall Hill Avenue on that parcel.
