Prescription drug collection box available at Public Safety Building in Orange

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says there is now a new prescription drug take back collection box linside the Public Safety Building.  The Sheriff’s Office says you will now be able to drop off any expired or unused medications 8-4:30 Monday thru Friday.
Orange County will still participate in the spring and fall with the DEA Drug Take Back at various locations, but this will allow drop off all year long. Orange Police Department also takes medications from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 249 Blue Ridge Drive in Orange as well as CVS, at their locations.
Officials say dispose of expired or unused medications to safeguard from unintended usages.
