Weekend: Nuisance showers and another big cool down
- Sunday will feel more like early October
- Modest increase in humidity Friday and Saturday
- Midday and early afternoon showers Saturday
- Cooler, much less humid Saturday night, Sunday
- Isolated small showers and light sprinkles will be scattered across the Fredericksburg area on Friday, otherwise, a good mix of sun and clouds and temperatures in the 70s.
On Saturday, a few hours of scattered showers move through between late morning and early afternoon, then the sky clears by evening with generous north breezes and a substantial drop in humidity.
The cooler and less humid air arriving Saturday evening will make it feel like early October for a couple of days. The sky remains clear with a daybreak Sunday temperature near 50, then sunny and in the middle 70s on Sunday afternoon.
After the Saturday showers, there is no chance of rain until at least Friday of next week, and the temperatures work back to normal next week. Tuesday through Friday afternoons return to the lower to middle 80s and nights will be more consistently in the 60s.
