A Caroline County community meeting will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Lotus Academy, 7278 Ladysmith Road in Ruther Glen, to discuss a potential data center project off Bull Church Road.

Ann Neil Cosby, an attorney for NRD Retail, LLC, sent a letter to county residents inviting them to the meeting and advising them of the proposed project that would be located east of the Interstate 95 interchange and adjacent to the southern boundary of the Virginia Bazaar.

The property is approximately 87.53 acres, and the company is requesting rezoning from Rural Preservation to Industrial (M-1).

The goal of the project is to construct several data center buildings, each containing up to 300,000 square feet for a total of 792,000 square feet of commercial space. The project would be known as the Bull Church Data Center.

Cosby advised anyone seeking more information to call her at 804/672-4546 or email [email protected].
