The following crimes were reported to the Fredericksburg Police Department from July 24-31.

  • Larceny- Theft from Motor Vehicle: 600 block Emancipation Highway, July 24, The owner of Angel Rides, Inc. reported
    that someone had gained entry into one of their vans and stolen a gas card. 1700 block Charles Street, July 25, A person reported that her purse, containing cash and credit cards, and an Apple iPad were stolen from her vehicle.
    1300 block Walker Drive, July 26, A person reported that someone entered their vehicle and stole the spare keys belonging to their other vehicles from the center console. 1200 block Wicklow Drive, July 27, A person reported that their vehicle’s rear windshield was shattered and her purse was stolen from the trunk. Motts Run Reservoir, 6600 River Road, July 27, A person reported when he returned to his vehicle the passenger side window was shattered and a diaper bag was missing.
    Doris E. Buffett Pool, 1300 Dixon Street, July 28, A person reported that her vehicle’s driver-side rear window was shattered and a Michael Kors bag was stolen. 500 block Hanson Avenue, July 26, A person reported that someone had gone through the contents in her glove box and stolen two pairs of prescription glasses. 1600 block Forest Village, July 30, A person reported their medication was stolen from their unsecured vehicle.
  • Larceny- Theft of Motor Vehicle: 100 block Huntingtin Hills Lane, July 26, A person reported that their front license
    plate had been stolen. Larceny- Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts: 1900 block Woodlyn Drive, July 28, A person reported their vehicle’s catalytic converter was stolen. Larceny- All Other Larceny 1400 block Carl D. Silver Parkway, July 23, A person reported that her medication had been stolen from her bag. 1800 block Carl D. Silver Parkway, 7/24, A person reported their bike was stolen. 1100 block Townsend Boulevard, July 29, A person reported their Amazon package
    was stolen from their front porch.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft: 300 block Riverside Manor Boulevard, July 28, An Amazon employee witnessed a man entering the driver’s seat of his delivery truck. The man and a woman accompanying him fled when they saw the employee returning.
  • Vandalism of Motor Vehicle: 1200 block Emancipation Highway, July 23, A person reported that someone had forcefully gained entry on the passenger side of their vehicle, causing damage to the door. 600 block Emancipation Highway, July 26, A person reported that the front driver’s side window to his vehicle was shattered.
