Mary Washington Healthcare announced Monday that many of the providers of Elite Women’s Health will join the healthcare system, effective immediately.

Mary Washington Obstetrics and Gynecology will now be home to Dr. Leedylyn Stadulis as well as Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Courtney Miller and certified nurse midwives Lauren Backy, Julie Flanagan and Megan Pham at the new office located at 4710 Spotsylvania Parkway, Suite 206.

Additionally, Dr. Brittany Bowler will be available to see patients at Mary Washington Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1300 Hospital Drive, Suite 300.

Dr. Zeenat Patel will not join Mary Washington Medical Group and will instead establish her own practice, Elite Gynecology and Wellness, alongside Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Heather Pickett. The practice will focus on gynecology, menopausal health, breast health, weight loss and will eventually include aesthetics.

Elite Gynecology and Wellness will not provide obstetrical care. For more information, call Elite Gynecology and Wellness at 374-7020. The practice will be located in the Chatham Square Office Park in the Falmouth area.

“We are delighted to have the providers from Elite Women’s Health join Mary Washington Healthcare,” said Dr. Daniel Woodford, senior medical director of Mary Washington Medical Group. “We have a shared commitment to serving the obstetric and gynecologic needs of the greater Fredericksburg community and are excited to work as partners to continue providing excellent care to all our patients. Additionally, we are thrilled to collaborate with the certified nurse midwives from Elite Women’s Health and from the Mary Washington Obstetrics and Gynecology group at Stafford to develop a truly full-service midwifery program with two outpatient locations and deliveries through Stafford Hospital.”

Patients of Elite Women’s Health who require copies of their medical records or need to have their records transferred to another healthcare provider can seek assistance by contacting the practice at 940-2000.
