Spotsylvania Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management says crews on 4th of July responded to a well-involved residential fire in the 4900 block of Blaydes Corner Road. Despite the challenging high heat and storm, the fire was quickly contained within 6 minutes.  A spokesman says the single occupant was outside and unharmed. The cause remains under investigation.
