Do you have a Farm Use plate on a car, truck, or SUV? State officials suggest you read about the new laws about “Farm Use” tags, that come into effect on July 1, 2024. Make sure you have the right tag on your vehicle.
Under the new law, which takes effect on July 1, only pickup trucks, SUVs, panel trucks, and other equipment with a gross weight greater than 7,500 pounds can display a Farm Use tag, and the new “Farm Use” tag must be obtained through the DMV.
