Crews have installed new pavement markings, portable curbing, and signs for a new traffic pattern to reduce the risk of crashes at the intersection.
Traffic exiting from the side streets at this Market Center crossover are now limited to right turns only. Side street traffic cannot exit by turning left through the crossover, or traveling straight across.
VDOT says traffic on Route 301 northbound can continue to turn left into Market Center, and traffic on Route 301 southbound can continue to turn left into the commercial shopping center and car wash.
