The City of Fredericksburg Department of Parks, Recreation and Events and the Woman’s Club of Fredericksburg present the 73rd Annual Fredericksburg Fine Arts Show and Sale at the Dorothy Hart Community Center (408 Canal Street, Fredericksburg) on Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24.
The hours of the show are Friday, 10am– 8pm, Saturday, 10am– 6pm and Sunday, 10am-4pm. This juried art show includes artworks from more than different disciplines and features over 275 original pieces from 117 artists.
Artwork shown at the Fredericksburg Fine Arts Show is of high quality, and personally handmade by theartists, many of whom are local to this area. There is something for everyone and in all price ranges. Even if you aren’t looking to purchase art, this is an awesome opportunity to view art created by artists
from Virginia. Admission is free. While visiting the Fine Art Show, attendees can also stop by and see works of art from the children of Fredericksburg at the annual Kid’s Art Show. Artwork from young artists ages 4 – 18 will be on display for viewing only. Works include sculptures, drawings, paintings, and more.
Proceeds from the show benefit the Women’s Club of Fredericksburg charitable programs and programs offered by Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation and Events.
