From James Monroe High School
Friday marked the kick-off for the second annual Ceili Leahy Senior Day of Service. Students learned the definition of Service Learning as recognized by the Virginia Department of Education as a High-Quality Work Based Learning opportunity!
Students from the core planning committee also shared what service meant to them. The day of service will occur Friday, April 12th, 2024, and with plans to partner with 10 local non-profits as well as Fredericksburg City Schools.
