A few friendly Christmas tree reminders from Stafford Fire and Rescue:
• If you have a live tree, make sure you are adequately watering it daily
• Make sure your tree, real or artificial, is at least three feet away from heat sources
• Turn the lights off your tree to when you are not around to let them cool off
• Remember that dried out live Christmas trees can create a tremendous fire danger, make sure you continue to water your tree until you are ready to dispose of it.
