From Fredericksburg City Police: Tuesday night, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Fredericksburg Police E-911 Center received multiple calls stating there was a reckless driver on Idlewild Boulevard who struck a parked vehicle and a report of an armed robbery on Farrish Lane. Officers responded and quickly determined the robbery and the reckless driving were connected.

Two of the masked individuals displayed firearms and demanded the teenagers give them their shoes. The victims complied, and the suspects fled to a Honda Civic that took off at a high rate of speed, striking a vehicle on Idlewild Boulevard.
Neighbors witnessed the hit-and-run and successfully stopped the suspect car in the roundabout. The suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot in various directions.
Only the driver of the Civic remained at the incident. The driver is a fifteen-year-old- female who was issued summonses for reckless driving, improper backing, and driving without a license. She is currently detained at the Rappahannock Regional Juvenile Detention Center for robbery and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
