From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:
A Detroit man was arrested Thursday night after capsizing his vehicle in a creek in Widewater.
On October 19th at 10:23 p.m. Deputy W.E. Trainor IV responded to the intersection of Widewater Road and Arkendale Road for a single vehicle accident. He arrived to find a Dodge Avenger off the roadway and upturned in approximately 2 feet of water. The driver was identified as Praise the Lord Grivois, 42, of Detroit, Michigan.
Miraculously, Grivois did not suffer serious injuries in the crash. He was arrested for DUI and held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
