Art Attack Fredericksburg is a grassroots event to encourage the exposure, promotion, and celebration of the city’s vibrant art community. From 10am-4pm on Saturday, September 16, participating artists take to the streets of the historic downtown with live art demonstrations ranging from painting and ceramics to music and dance.
Artists require no gallery affiliation, professional status or payment to participate, simply a willingness to perform their craft in public and abide by the event parameters. Since its inception in 2012, Art Attack has been a widely anticipated event for local artists, both established and emerging, and has been a well-received annual art spectacle for the public.
The 10th Annual Art Attack Event takes place in the center of the downtown on Caroline Street (between and Amelia and Wolfe Street) and William Street (between Princess Anne Street and Sophia Street)
