Orange authorities looking for man on gun charges

From the Orange County Sheriff’s Office:

On August 13, 2023, at approximately 8:20 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 17000 block of Mansion Rd. in Barboursville, VA., for a domestic with shots fired.
Upon arrival, the residence was engulfed in flames and the occupants were evacuated. The investigation revealed that Juan Rodriguez-Bedolla had fired multiple shots into the residence, blocked the exit so the occupants could not get out and then set the house on fire.
Bedolla fled the scene in a gold Chevrolet Tahoe, the Tahoe was later discovered by Deputies on Sam Mundy Rd. Bedolla was last seen driving a red Ford Sport Utility Vehicle, a “be on the lookout” was sent out to other jurisdictions for Bedolla and his vehicle.
Bedolla’s red Ford SUV was located abandoned in Waynesboro in the early morning hours of August 14, 2023.
Juan Rodriguez-Bedolla, Hispanic male, 57 years old, 5’ 5”, 160 lbs., black hair, and brown eyes, is currently wanted on two counts of 18.2-279: discharging a firearm in/at an occupied building.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are pending.
Bedolla is believed to be driving the vehicle pictured, a 2011 gold Chevrolet Tahoe with Virginia plate UTK9599, unknown direction of travel.
No further information will be provided at this time.
