Images from Saturday night’s Germanna Together Gala celebrating Dr. Patti Lisk’s 37 years of contribution to the GCC nursing program, the past decade as dean. The event raised $400,000 for Germanna Cares, which assists students dealing with food insecurity and other basic needs.
It was announced that the virtual hospitals in which high-tech human simulators are used to train nurses at both the Locust Grove and new Center Street facility in Stafford will be named for Dr. Lisk.
Among the guests were U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger and Dr. David Dore, Chancellor of the Virginia Community College System.
Thank you, Dr. Lisk, for making Germanna’s nursing program the biggest and best in the state!
