Route 625 (Prim Road) in King George County has reopened at Mattox Creek after a major bridge rehabilitation project. VDOT replaced the bridge’s steel beams and wooden deck and rails, and made repairs to the bridge’s substructure. The bridge was built in 1970. Traffic had been detoured since construction began in mid-April 2023. Around 124 vehicles a day travel Prim Road.
