From the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank
This week there will be several fresh market distributions featuring produce, along with some of our standard drive-through and walk-up distributions. Please help spread the word so that those who can benefit from free, supplemental groceries can be aware of sites near them.
On Tuesday, June 20, we will have our first fresh market distribution of the week at Healthy Families Rappahannock Area (4605 Carr Drive,
Fredericksburg) from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The next fresh market distribution will be on Thursday, June 22 at the River Club (10825 Tidewater Trail, Fredericksburg) from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Another fresh market will be held at Downtown Greens Inc. (206 Charles Street, Fredericksburg) on Friday, June 23 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., with the final one of the week on Saturday, June 24 at James Monroe High School (2300 Washington Drive, Fredericksburg) from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
Other special distributions during the week will be a drive-through on Tuesday, June 20 at St. Stephen’s Baptist Church (9142 Comorn Road, King George) from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. and a walk-up at the Fredericksburg Department of Social Services (675 Jackson Street, Fredericksburg) from 12:15 – 1:45 p.m.
