Ferry Farm’s archaeological dig is underway with interesting results. What started off as just a midden (old trash heap for domestic waste) dig might well be turning out to be part of a larger mystery — some sort of large structure! Perhaps it’s a barn or something else. Only patient digging will reveal the secrets buried!
Visitors are welcome to come and watch the dig through July 21, our archaeological team is always glad to share about their findings and processes.
