From the Virginia Renaissance Faire:
To better pace our attendance and ensure that people can get into the faire as well as minimize the impact and traffic for our neighbors, we have switched our ticketing system to dated tickets sold online only.
If you previously purchased an undated ticket, it is still good for any of the remaining days of the faire. We have purposefully set the attendance cap low to ensure that you can get in. The same goes for anyone holding a complimentary ticket or ticket purchased from one of the local radio stations.
Please choose your date carefully and thoughtfully as tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. We are open rain or shine, but know that some acts may need to be cancelled or altered due to slippery conditions.
Be cautious of people “re-selling” tickets – they are almost always a scam. We’ve had them show up on our page “selling” tickets before this system even went into place.
We are very sorry if this makes it difficult for some people to attend, but it’s the only tool we have for ensuring that everyone who bought a ticket gets to come to the Renaissance Faire.
