The 9/11 Memorial Trail serves as a tribute to the heroes who died on September 11, 2001, and the many heroes who continue to suffer and die today from diseases related to the rescue attempts. The trail connects the three crash sites in New York City, Shanksville, PA and the Pentagon in Arlington. It’s about 13-hundred miles. The Trail is for walkers, runners and cyclists. The entire concept was developmed by former Prince William Delegate David Brickley.
