27th District Senate candidate Tara Durant has received the endorsement of Governor Youngkin, who joins Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears and Attorney General Miyares in backing Durant ahead of the June 20th Republican Primary.
“It is truly an honor to have the support of Governor Youngkin in our fight to flip the Virginia Senate,” stated Durant.
“For two years, we’ve been working side by side to deliver for Virginia families – protecting parental rights, cutting taxes and standing up for law enforcement. There’s more work to be done, and we will tear down the Democrats’ brick wall in the Virginia Senate this November and continue to restore the Spirit of Virginia.”
Governor Youngkin is joined by Senators Mark Obenshain, Mark Peake and Steve Newman, and Virginia Republican activist Tim Parrish in announcing their support for Tara Durant today.
“Tara Durant is a one-of-kind conservative leader – standing strong for our principles and always focused on delivering real results for her constituents,” said Obenshain in his endorsement. “She has my endorsement as the only Republican who can win the 27th District seat and deliver conservative results.”
