27,250+! TThe Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank says that’s how many meals were collected on Saturday for Stamp Out Hunger where mail carriers around the region picked up food you left by the mailbox. The food bank says thousands of bags of non-perishable food was picked up on Saturday.
And it’s timely. The Food Bank says: With summer approaching, thousands of children lose access to breakfast, lunch, and snacks their families rely on the school to help provide during the school year. Thanks for these contributions in support of the nutritional health of so many children and their families!
