Virginia Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner were in Stafford to visit the future site of Germanna Community College’s cybersecurity training center. The Warner and Kaine worked to secure $870,000 in federal funding for the center. The money will be used to set up the James Clapper Center for Innovation in Cybersecurity. It will be located in the new Barbara J. Fried Center that will house Germanna’s cybersecurity degree and credential programs.
