The Spotsylvania School Board didn’t meet last night. Board chairman Kirk Twigg cancelled the meeting because of a lack of a quorum. Virginia code requires four of seven members. Board members Dawn Shelley, Rita Daniels and Nicole Cole said they planned to attend. Cancelling the meeting means no decision on what to do with school carryover funds and no decision on the superintendent search.
