by | Nov 15, 2021 | Events

Illuminate Light Show, Central Virginia’s largest and longest running Christmas lights and music show, has kicked off season eight at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell. (13111 Dawn Blvd, 2307)

To show their appreciation for our military and frontline workers, Illuminate Light Show is offering free admission to all military, police, firefighters and EMS workers, including their entire carload (up to 9 people) through Thursday, November 18th.   All you need to do is show your credentials at the ticket window.

Illuminate Light Show is proud to announce the return of Santa’s Village this season. Inside the 36,000 sq ft Santa’s Village, guests of Illuminate Light Show can find hot food and sweet treats, fun and games including bounce houses and spider jumps, vendors offering unique, one of a kind Christmas gifts, and of course, Santa Claus himself. Santa’s last night at Santa’s Village is December 23rd.

For the third consecutive season, Illuminate Light Show has partnered with Mason’s Toy Box to help spread Christmas cheer to hospitalized children and their siblings. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night, from November 15th through December 15th, Illuminate Light Show is giving $5.00 off admission to anyone who brings at least one new, unwrapped toy for Mason’s Toy Box. Mason’s Toy Box is a nonprofit organization established in 2011 to honor Mason Clark Thomas. Mason fought a rare childhood cancer from age 5 to age 11 and lost his battle June 20th, 2011. Through gifting, Mason’s Toy Box provides relief to families impacted by childhood illness/disease/injury. The donations are collected and personally delivered by Mason’s Toy Box elves and Santa Claus to hospitalized children and their siblings. Donations for teens and babies are the biggest need.

Illuminate Light Show is one of the nation’s largest drive through Christmas lights and music shows, comprised of over 2.5 million LED lights, displayed over a 2.5-mile route, all fully synchronized to rocking Christmas music played through your own car stereo. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket window upon arrival at the show, or online at illuminatelightshow.com.
