From Arlington National Cemetery:
The #Tomb100 Flower Ceremony has begun!
Today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the public will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Plaza and lay a flower in front of the Tomb.

Getting Here:
• A government-issued photo ID is required for entrance into the cemetery (https://www.arlingtoncemetery.mil/Visit/Security)

• We encourage you to take public transportation. Parking is limited. Remember to check Metro times. (https://www.wmata.com/)
• You may walk or take the FREE tram from outside the Welcome Center to the Tomb.
• Please arrive at the tram stop no later than 30 minutes prior to your flower-laying time slot.
• No containers (glass or otherwise), wreaths, bouquets or rolling luggage are permitted.
• There are no public lockers or hold areas at the cemetery.
At the Ceremony:
• This event is ADA-accessible and stroller-friendly.
• You may bring your own flowers, but some will be distributed for free.
• No selfies are permitted at the Tomb.
• Interpretive talks will be given from the Memorial Amphitheater west steps (side closest to the Mast of the Maine Memorial) throughout the day.
• Masks are required in all indoor spaces at the cemetery, including restrooms.
While You Are Here:
• Tour our new Tomb centennial exhibits in the Welcome Center and the Display Room of the Memorial Amphitheater. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., ANC curators and historians will act as docents in the Display Room, offering short talks at the top of each hour. Masks required.
