Fall Foliage Report for Virginia State Parks

Welcome to our fall foliage report for 2021. Each week we will be taking pictures at various parks and highlighting them.  Click here for the foliage report. The parks will also be sharing the conditions of the leaf color.

For the week of Nov. 1, 2021, from the west to the coast, we have fall colors showing in varying ways. The western park foliage is peaking and even declining in color. Find the brightest color in our central parks, where it’s prime leaf peeping time. Our coastal parks are following suit, but only slightly showing fall on the tips of their leaves or with sepia colored grasses along moody shores.
