The investigation which spanned several months concluded on October 25, 2021 with the arrest of Mr. Sparks for Felony Distribution of a controlled substance.
Search warrants were executed at three residences located in Spotsylvania County. The ensuing searches of David Sparks person and the residences yielded an estimated 6 ounces of cocaine, 50lbs of marijuana and small quantities of heroin, MDMA tablets, and pills. Also seized were several guns, over $630,000 in US currency, a 2009 Maserati Gran Turismo, and a 2014 Nissan Maxima.

Sheriff Roger Harris wants to send a clear message that “the citizens of Spotsylvania are fed up with this kind of poison on our streets. Drug dealers have to get lucky every day, we only need to get lucky once.”
