From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:
On July 3 at 7:43 p.m. Deputy E.T. Osborn responded to a single vehicle accident at 21 McCarty Road. He arrived to find a blue Chevy Colorado had left the roadway, traversed a ditch and struck a tree.
The driver was identified as Brenna Armstrong, 19. Armstrong had slurred speech and an odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath. Field sobriety tests were administered and she was arrested for DUI. Armstrong was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 unsecured bond until sober.
