The King George Sheriff’s Office has arrested a fugitive from Maryland after being on the run since 2019. 30 year old Justin Holton was wanted for parole violation related to charges in Charles County, Maryland for Distribution of a Controlled Deadly Substance, 2nd Degree Assault, and Obstruction of Justice.
Holton had previously accepted a plea deal to serve seven years in prison for the Maryland charges but failed to appear for sentencing in September 2019. King George Sheriff’s Office detectives have been surveilling the residence where Holton was believed to be hiding out. They located Holton at this King George residence and took him into custody without incident.
He is facing a Felony Fugitive of Justice charge in King George and will be extradited to Maryland to face those charges.
