From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:
Detectives with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Fas Mart located at 3530 Plank Road on April 21, 2021 at approximately 0215am.
Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office initially responded to a panic hold up alarm from the business. Upon their arrival, the store employee stated that a black male came into the store and immediately pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The store employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the male. The male also demanded the store employees cell phone. After the male got both the money and cell phone, he fled the scene on foot. The employee’s cell phone was later found in the parking lot. The suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as a black male, possibly in his 20’s, approximately 5’9” tall with a slender frame. He was last seen wearing black shoes, black pants, back hoodie and a black full face bandanna over his face.
