From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:
We received a call today from the Livingston Land fill off Massey Rd referencing an injured eagle at approximately 0810am. Deputy Sutton arrived on scene and observed a feisty Eagle not able to grasp or use its right foot. The Eagle was carefully captured and transported to a local rehabber. This is where he was diagnosed with a possible infection to the foot which is called bumble foot. He will be transferred to the Waynesboro wildlife center for rehabilitation and recovery!
