In an effort to support local small businesses in the Fredericksburg region during the ongoing global pandemic, B101.5 morning show host, Dee Daniels, will unveil the “Back To Business Spotlight”. Starting the week of March 8, 2021, nearly one-year after sweeping lockdowns and severe restrictions were invoked crippling many small businesses, Dee will invite small businesses on the Dee In The Morning Show to promote how they are staying open and conducting business a year into the pandemic. This opportunity will be offered at no-charge and with no obligation.
Regional small businesses wishing to be considered for the “Back To Business Spotlight”, must submit an online application at www.b1015.com, keyword “Spotlight”. Once selected, company representatives will be contacted to schedule an interview with Dee to be aired on the Dee In the Morning Show.
“I was driving through downtown [Fredericksburg] a few nights ago and saw a lot of ‘open’ signs and empty parking lots, said Dee Daniels. “It stuck with me all night. Even though residents are getting vaccinated, and restrictions are slowly lifting in Virginia, people have become used to being at home and not going out. I feel like we have an obligation to help small businesses fill up those parking lots again.”
“As a local small business, we understand how difficult the last year has been for many of our advertising partners,” said Mark Bass, Market Manager for Centennial Broadcasting’s B101.5. “As vaccine numbers continue to increase and COVID-19 metrics begin to come down in the region, we want to help small businesses ‘rise up’ and tell their story. We thrive when they thrive and we strive to keep the region’s economy healthy.”
The Dee In the Morning Show airs weekdays, 5am to 10am on B101.5 and online at www.b1015.com and the B101.5 App for Apple and Android.
