A Maryland man has been charged with breaking into a King George business.  Sheriff’s Sgt. Kecia Wharton says a motorist drove by The Border Store on 301 in Dahlgren shortly after midnight on Tuesday and noticed a glass door had been broken.  Deputies discovered that a burglary had occurred.  Surveillance video showed a vehicle thought to be involved.

Deputies searched the area and found the vehicle in a nearby apartment complex with the suspect inside sleeping.  Wharton said items from the vehicle were found in the car.

50-year old Francis Rihtaric of St. Leonard, Maryland was charged with burglary and grand larceny. He was taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
