The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a man is in custody after fatally shooting his brother Friday night on Porter Hill Road. Police say the victim attempted to drive to the hospital, but stopped on Courthouse Road near Jennifer Lane. Stafford Fire and Rescue transported the victim to the hospital with several gunshot wounds to his torso. 33-year old Calvin Whiting died from his injuries.
39-year old Wesley “Ray” Whiting of no fixed address fled the scene but was arrested on Saturday. Police say the investigation is ongoing. No details released on what led to the shooting.
