Fredericksburg Police say a teenager was killed and another injured in an apparent drive-by shooting. Authorities say the incident occurred at 10:45 in the 2500 block of Carriage Lane. The victim is identified as 18-year old Connall Mullins of King George.
Sarah Morris with City Police says they received multiple calls of gunfire in the area. Officers found two victims with gunshot wounds. Patrol officers set up a perimeter around the scene and began their investigation while a detective was requested to respond to the incident. EMS transported both victims to the hospital where one was pronounced dead. The other victim remains hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a mask and was driving a dark colored sedan.
The investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released as it develops.
